HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Motorists who use US 50 will have to deal with a major road project next year.
APAC Shears of Hutchinson will be doing a complete mill and overlay of US-50 from the Harvey and Reno County line west to the highway divide near Yoder Road. The nine-mile stretch will be down to one lane during construction with traffic delays expected.
The total cost of the project is nearly $2.3 million. The project was announced by KDOT during their monthly contract announcements last week.
