HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Horizons Mental Health Center will receive more than $3 million from the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Horizons is one of five certified community behavioral health clinics (CCBHC) in Kansas that will receive more than $19 million. Funding was provided under the Consolidated Appropriations Act to expand patient access to mental health and addiction treatment services.&nbsp;

Specifically, CCBHCs provide crisis care, residential treatment, medications for serious mental illness, outpatient mental health and primary care services, and community re-entry support.
