Hutchinson Community Concerts is preparing to launch its 2025-2026 season with a diverse lineup of world-class performances, beginning Saturday, Sept. 20, at Memorial Hall.
Craig Johnson, a longtime local music educator and board member, says the series has been bringing affordable, high-quality entertainment to Hutchinson for nearly 90 years as part of a nationwide concert network.
“The artists tour the Midwest for several weeks, which brings down the cost,” Johnson explained. “That allows us to pass the savings along to our members—just $60 for an adult season ticket, or about $10 per concert.”
A family membership, which includes two adults and all K-12 children in the household, is available for $130. Student memberships are just $10 for the season.
The 2025-26 season opens Sept. 20 with M5 Mexican Brass, a dynamic brass quintet celebrating 20 years of performances blending opera, jazz, pop, and theatrical showmanship.
The series continues with:
• Dan Miller, American Acoustic – Nov. 1, featuring cowboy ballads, Western history, and humor.
• Nate Hance, Piano Man – Nov. 10, showcasing timeless classics and original compositions.
• CeCe Teneal: Divas of Soul – Feb. 17, a tribute to Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston and more.
• Katie McMahon’s Celtic Celebration – Mar. 17, featuring the Dublin-born soprano best known for her work in Riverdance.
• Live from Laurel Canyon – Apr. 24, celebrating the music of the 1960s and ’70s from artists like Crosby, Stills & Nash, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Linda Ronstadt, and the Eagles.
All concerts begin at 7 p.m. at Memorial Hall.
Season tickets can be purchased online at hutchconcerts.com. Tickets will also be available for pickup at the opening concert.
Johnson encouraged families to consider making concerts a tradition.
