MCPHERSON, Kan. — Business owners in McPherson County are invited to learn more about apprenticeships and how they can help your company recruit and retain employees whose skills match its needs.
Attendees at this presentation will also learn from resource partners in the area about how they can provide support to employers through the development process as well as to the apprentices.
The Apprenticeship Presentation will be on September 4th at 9:00 a.m. at the BPU and RSVP’s are needed to [email protected] or [email protected] for an accurate headcount for materials.

Andre Heath, Deputy Secretary, Kansas Office of Apprenticeship will be talking about the impact that apprenticeships can have on your talent pipeline as well as incentives and resources to help companies build an apprenticeship program. There are already apprenticeship programs available in a wide range of careers. These programs can be easily customized to meet specific company needs.
