2020 has had its challenges for all of us, but especially for families and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Those challenges have been exacerbated by the ongoing pandemic, which has resulted in a rise in domestic and sexual violence cases in Reno county. The need to find safe shelter for survivors is greater than ever. BrightHouse services keep survivors who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking safe through the crisis line, emergency shelter, safety planning, legal advocacy, supervised parenting time and links to community resources.
This year has also presented a challenge for My 93-1's annual "Stuff the Bus" food drive for BrightHouse. So in place of a physical event, we present the first-ever "Virtual Stuff The Bus!" Below are examples of how your online monetary donations could be used by area victims in shelter situations provided by BrightHouse. 100% of all donations go to Brighthouse. Simply examine the options below and choose how much you would like to donate, then click the "Donate" button and follow the payment instructions. It's that easy!
