The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a Wind Advisory due to south winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected in Russell, Lincoln, Barton, Ellsworth, Rice and Reno counties from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Use caution on roadways. High profile vehicles may have difficulty in the high wind conditions, especially on east to west oriented roads.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
