MOUNT HOPE — The Fire In The Hills benefit bull riding event is coming up Saturday in Mount Hope.
Mid Plains Bulls and Broncs tells Hutch Post that proceeds from the event will be divided among all families that lost their homes to the Cottonwood Complex fire in March. Emergency responders enter for free with their badge.
There will be a concert after the bull riding. Weston Price will be opening for Kansas native and The Voice contestant Savanna Chestnut. There will also be auction items as part of the fundraiser.
Tickets to the bull riding are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 6-12. Kids 6 and under are free.
The bull riding starts at 6 p.m. with the concert to follow.
