KINGMAN, Kan.-The Hutch Monarchs bounced back into the win column by snapping a two-game skit to blast the Kingman Islanders Saturday night in Kingman 15-2.
DJ Merriweather led the Monarchs going three for four and knocking in four runs in the seven inning game. Blake Bradford was not far behind also going one for four but produced three RBI's.
For the game, Hutchinson pounded out 11 hits with only one error in the contest.
Jace Minor gets the win for the Monarchs who are now 9-5 overall. Kingman falls to 6-8.
The same two teams play Sunday night in Kingman with first pitch set for 6pm.
