Norma Lee Hadley |1947-2022|

Norma Lee Hadley, 74, passed away January 12, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.  She was born January 31, 1947, in Moundridge, to Perry Andrew and Ora Mae (Frye) Henry.

Norma graduated from Hutchinson High School.  Immediately after graduation, she began working in the ‘Day-Old Store’ at Betts Baking Company, Hutchinson.  She later worked at Dollar General and was a homemaker until 2003, when she, along with her son, Jason, became the owners of Caribbean Tan, Hutchinson.

Norma enjoyed doing yardwork, working in her flower garden, and shopping.  She built bird houses, but was also well-known for her attempts to work on cars.

On August 23, 1968, Norma married Gerald ‘Jerry’ Hadley.  They shared over 53 years of marriage.

She is survived by:  her husband, Gerald Hadley of Hutchinson; sons, Todd Hadley of Grain Valley, MO, and Jason Hadley of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Aiden Hadley, Hunter Hoagland, and Austin Hoagland; mother, Ora Henry of Hutchinson; sister, Betty Henry of Hutchinson; and numerous cousins.

Norma was preceded in death by her father.

Celebration of Life service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Eastwood Church of Christ, 2500 N. Plum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Bob Phipps officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice in Norma’s memory, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
