NEWTON, Kan. — Harvey County Commissioners voted on Tuesday to put a question to take off the 30% food sales requirement for liquor by the drink on the November ballot.
This is after both Reno and McPherson County voters approved the removal of the same restriction in their counties in 2023. Sedgwick County already had removed the restriction. Of the counties bordering Harvey County, only Marion County still has the restriction.
The question will be on the Nov. 5 ballot in Harvey County.
