
TOPEKA, Kan. — The Kansas Volleyball Association released its 2025 preseason volleyball rankings Wednesday, based on 2024-25 school enrollments. Rankings will be adjusted after updated classifications are announced in late September.
Local Highlights
Class 4A McPherson opens the season ranked No. 5, while Buhler checks in at No. 10. Both programs are expected to contend in a loaded 4A field that also includes perennial powers Bishop Miege and Hayden.
Class 3A Halstead leads the way as the No. 1-ranked team in Class 3A. The Dragons, coming off a state championship in 2024, sit ahead of Nemaha Central and Hoisington.
Class 2A Inman is ranked No. 3, and Sedgwick follows at No. 4.
