The Big 12 Conference is well-represented in the American Volleyball Coaches Association's (AVCA)/TARAFLEX Preseason Division I Women's Volleyball Poll with four teams in the top 25.
The Kansas Jayhawks headline the four, coming in at No. 13, the highest start in the poll since 2017 (No. 8). The Jayhawks are the preseason favorite to win the conference title.
KU opens the season on Aug. 30 against South Carolina in the Duke Tournament, held in Durham, N.C. The Jayhawks will also face Duke and Colgate in the tourney.
BYU comes in at No. 16, Arizona State at No. 17 and Baylor at No. 23 round out the Big 12 teams ranked.
