SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a fatal Sunday accident have identified the victim as 32-year-old Jared Browning of Wichita.
Just after 1:30 a.m., police responded to a rollover crash at Central and Zoo Boulevard, according to officer Charley Davidson.
Upon arrival, officers located a 2000 GMC Yukon lying on its roof. Browning had been ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The investigation revealed Browning was driving the Yukon westbound on Central and turned to go north on Zoo Boulevard. He lost control of the Yukon. It struck a curb and overturned. Speed is believed to be a factor in the accident, according to Davidson.
