HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County area has now recorded 100 deaths from the pandemic.
The Reno County Health Department was notified through the Office of Vital Statistics Death Certificates of the new number. More than half (51) of the reported COVID-19 deaths have occurred in the county in the past 30 days.
As of Tuesday afternoon, there were 520 active cases of the pandemic with 513 in the community. There have been 6,470 positive cases with 5,850 recoveries.
There have been 20,302 tests administered with an overall positive test rate of 31.8%.
