TURON, Kan. — One person was injured in a single vehicle accident Friday night in far southwest Reno County. Reno County EMS, rural fire crews and the sheriff’s department were all dispatched to K-61 and Raymond Road and found 28-year-old John Brady of Turon trapped in the wrecked vehicle.

The SO reports that Brady was driving east on K-61 when he swerved to miss a coyote. Brady over-corrected and exited the road on the right side where it entered the ditch and struck the side of an access road. The vehicle went airborne and rolled several times before it came to a rest.

Brady was transported to the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center by EMS for non-life threatening injuries.

The accident happened just after 10 p.m. one mile west of Turon.
