
WICHITA, Kan. — Wichita Police have released the name of a man that fell off of the hood of a car and died last Friday, after what prosecutors say was a hit and run incident.
Police say 41-year-old Rigoberto Rivas was lying in the street at at 9th Street North and St. Paul in west Wichita around 7:40 a.m. on October 14.
Prosecutors have charged a Hutchinson woman in the incident.
Thirty-six-year-old Ashley Corley was booked over the weekend for failure to stop at an accident resulting in death and driving while suspended.
Along with the first-degree murder charge, Corley was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident and a misdemeanor count of driving while her license is suspended or canceled.
