HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Kansas Association of Broadcasters (KAB) released its station awards on Monday, and EAGLE Media was well-represented.
The KAB reported there were over 900 entries for this year's awards. The Mississippi Association of Broadcasters judged the entries.
The following EAGLE Media employee-owners were honored:
KWBW Program Director Rob Dreher, earned honorable mention honors for Complete Sportscast by local station for his morning sports report.
Digital Marketing Manager Ashley Weve, earned first place for Excellence in Multimedia/Digital Promotional or Commercial Announcements for a video done for Wesley Towers Retirement Community. Weve also earned honorable mention honors in the same category for a piece done on Strataca Underground Salt Museum.
My 93-1 Program Director Daren Dunn earned first place for Best Morning Show, Daren Dunn in the Morning.
Operations Manager Pat James, earned honorable mention honors for Best Morning Show, Pat James Show.
Country 102.9 was also recognized with second place for Station Excellence.

KAB will recognize this year's winners with a Celestial Celebration at a Station Awards Dinner during the KAB Annual Convention in Wichita, Oct. 21.
