Larry Eugene Freeman  |1937-2022| 

Larry Eugene Freeman, Sr., 85, of Medicine Lodge, died Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.

He was born on August 14, 1937 in Medicine Lodge, the son of Adrian Freeman and Goldie (Hart) Freeman.

Larry was an over the road truck driver for many years. “This over the road truck driver has reached his final destination.”

Surviving are his wife, Sondra (Vann) Freeman of Medicine Lodge; three children, Kenneth Freeman of Pratt, Patty (Steve) Ellis of Sapulpa, OK, and Mike (Blythe) Murphy of Medicine Lodge; 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; one brother, Doug Freeman of Satanta; numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Larry Freeman, Jr, one daughter, Kimberly Tilley and one sister, Kay Wilder.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, with Pastor Tom Walters officiating. The family encourages all those in attendance to wear a mask.
