Dillons will offer a one-day special discount to senior shoppers on Wednesday, May 7.
Customers age 55 and older will receive a 5% discount on in-store grocery purchases and everyday essentials at all Dillons locations.
To receive the discount, eligible customers are encouraged to ask their cashier to apply it during checkout. No coupon is required.
“At Dillons, we are committed to providing fresh, affordable food and are always looking for ways to help our customers stretch their budgets,” said Sheila Regehr, corporate affairs manager for Dillons. “Whether it’s added points on Fridays, savings with a digital coupon, or scoring a great markdown price, everyone loves a great deal. That’s why we’re excited to extend this one-day Senior Day discount once again.”
The offer applies to most items, including pantry staples, fresh produce and household goods. Exclusions include alcohol, tobacco, fuel, money orders, taxes, postage stamps, gift cards and certificates, lottery tickets, promotional tickets, CRV, prescriptions, and customer service fees.
Dillons also encourages shoppers to take advantage of additional savings and digital rewards available through its app, which offers more than $500 in weekly digital coupons.
