STAFFORD COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 4p.m. Friday in Stafford County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Pontiac G6 driven by Jordan Anthony Megyeri Thomas, 31, Hutchinson, was westbound on U.S. 50 just west of Stafford being pursued by the Reno County Sheriff's Office.

The driver attempted to avoid tire deflation devices. He lost control of the car. It traveled into the south ditch, Struck a sign post and several trees.

EMS transported Thomas to the Stafford County Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP
