
RICE COUNTY— Six people were injured in a 3-vehicle crash just after 10:30a.m. Sunday in Rice County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Honda Accord driven by Kristjan N. Goosby, 19, Lawrenceville, Georgia, was southbound on Kansas 14 three miles south of Sterling. The driver lost control while passing another vehicle. The Honda went into a driver side broadside skid in the northbound lane.
A 2017 Toyota Highlander driven by Shela F Link, 71, Hutchinson\, struck the Honda. After impact, the Honda spun into the southbound lane and a 2007 Ford F250 driven by Jonathan W. Bishop, 40, Hutchison, struck Honda.
EMS transported Goosby, Link and a passenger in the Toyota Randall L. Link, 72, Hutchinson and passengers in the Ford identified as Marie A. Bishop, 45, a 15-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy all of Hutchinson to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Jonathan W. Bishop was not injured. Marie Bishop and the teen passenger were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.

RICE COUNTY, Kan. — Multiple people were injured in a three-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Rice County.
According to the Rice County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched May 3 to the area of mile marker 117 on Kansas Highway 14 for a reported injury accident involving several motorists.
Emergency responders transported multiple individuals to area hospitals for treatment. The extent of injuries has not been released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Kansas Highway Patrol,
