Honor Marie Cotton,42 passed away November 14th, 2021, at her mother's Pam and stepfather Harley Oursler home in Newton. Where she had been living in the care of her family while fighting cancer.
Honor was born October 22, 1979, at home 5 ½ miles from Elmdale. She graduated from Beloit High School and went on to achieve many certificates, CNA, CMA, RA, AD/SSD, HHA and at the end of her working career in healthcare she then took care of the mentally disabled. She loved taking care of others and enjoyed fishing, traveling, and going to casinos. She fought hard and for a long time to the very end.
Honor is survived by her longtime partner Stacy Duncan Monroe and a beautiful daughter Amber Cotton of Newton. Her mother Pamela and stepfather Harley Oursler of Newton. Her father Ronald and stepmother Pam Cotton of Grove, Ok. Sister Anna Cook and longtime partner Ryan Allbright, nieces, and nephews Leonna, Darius, Max, Hailee, and Ozzy of Newton. Her brother Cyrus Oursler of Newton. And her mother's pet Harley cat, her friend that would lie with her often during this time.
Honor had requested no funeral services, but to have a celebration of life next summer in her mom's backyard to be announced at a later date. Special Thank You to Good Shepherd Hospice and all the friends and family for the prayers and thoughts.
