Pratt - Charles Jon Neifert, 78, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Hilltop Manor in Cunningham, Kansas. He was born on February 2, 1943, in Sacramento, California, to Leroy Lindell and Elva Sophie (McCardell) Neifert. Charles married Carla Jo Meredith (Olson) Neifert on June 6, 1964. They were married for 57 years.
Charles worked as a minister for 36 years. He was a member of Pratt Friends Church. He enjoyed reading, fishing, bowling, teasing children, and talking.
He is survived by his wife, Carla of Pratt, Kansas; children, Michael Leroy (Susan) Neifert of Pratt, Kansas; Jon Steven (Verla) Neifert of Otley, Iowa; Pamela Christine (Seth) Roe of Kingman, Kansas; and Patrick James (Christy) Neifert of Commerce City, Colorado; sisters, Patricia Lightfoot of Newberg, Oregon, and Ruth Bond of Nampa, Idaho; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 1 niece.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Richard Lightfoot and Ed Bond; and nephew, Jeff Lightfoot.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2021 at Pratt Friends Church, Pratt with Pastor Mike Neifert presiding. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pratt Friends Church or Eudora Baptist Church in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
