HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Renovations on the playground at Rice Park have officially started. This week, city staff is removing the old equipment to make way for the new play structures. 

For safety purposes staff is asking that you visit another one of the city's playgrounds for this short period of time. Installation of the new equipment is scheduled for next week.
