Sandi Moore, 72, died unexpectedly January 19, 2022, at her home. She was born April 7, 1949, in Hutchinson, to Elmer Mohr and Marcketta (Tomlinson) Mohr Peak.
Sandi graduated from Lyons High School in 1968. She worked as an administrative assistant for Nickerson Grade School, as a receptionist for the Medical Center, and at the Reno County Courthouse. For 15 years, she worked alongside her family at Kansas Lumper Service. Sandi enjoyed sewing for her family and was involved in almost every aspect of her church, Salem Church of the Brethren. Above all, Sandi was a devoted mother and grandmother, and that love and devotion extended to her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
On September 19, 1969, she married Randy Leon Moore, in Hutchinson.
Sandi is survived by: her husband of almost 53 years, Randy of Nickerson; daughter, Daiquiri Rosen (Brent) of Lenexa; son, Dusty Moore (Jonna) of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Samantha Pittman (Sean) of Overland Park, Cody Moore (Jade), Landon Moore, all of Hutchinson, Chase Rosen and Finley Rosen of Lenexa; brother, Ray Mohr (Rita) of Topeka; sister, Eva Geiger of Kansas City, MO; stepmother, Pearl Mohr of Hutchinson; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and a host of friends.
