KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The home of the Kansas City Chiefs will once again be known simply as Arrowhead Stadium beginning with the 2026 NFL season, the team and Government Employees Health Association announced Wednesday.
The stadium had carried the name GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium since 2021. GEHA will remain a Chiefs partner despite the removal of its name from the venue.
The organization will continue to sponsor the Chiefs Military Mission, which supports active-duty service members, veterans and military families through base visits, holiday outreach, military appreciation events at training camp and the team’s annual Salute to Service game.
Chiefs President Mark Donovan said the decision was made jointly and reflects a desire to honor the stadium’s history and tradition.
