RENO COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just before 8 a.m. Friday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Ford F150 driven by Kendrick Dale Nisly, 24, Hutchinson, was eastbound on Kansas 61 at South Peace Road.
The pickup rear-ended a 2001 Chevy Suburban driven by Kyla Jeanne Thornsley, 33, Arlington, who was stopped to make a left turn. The impact pushed the SUV into oncoming traffic. A westbound 2016 Chevy Cruze driven by Carlee Jo Davidson, 19, Partridge, struck the Suburban on the passenger side.
EMS transported Thornsley and Davidson to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Nisly was not injured. Davidson was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
