Haviland - Don Ray McFarland, Jr., 54, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 6, 1966 in Pratt to Don Ray and Gloria (Wilson) McFarland. Don married Ruth Margaret (Hoeme) McFarland on August 29, 1987 in Pratt . They were married for 23 years before they divorced.

Don graduated from Pratt High School in 1985. He then went on to earn his Associate Degree in Mechanics from Arizona Automotive Institute. He worked for Alliance Ag and Grain in Haviland. He was a member of Cannonball Golf Course in Greensburg. He enjoyed golfing, being a mechanic, exercising, running, biking, gardening, watching the Dallas Cowboys and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Nathan McFarland, Tanner (Victoria) McFarland and Adrein McFarland all of Pratt; sisters, Tina (Stanley) Norris and Dana Tripp both of Pratt; brother, Eddie McFarland of St. John; grandchildren, Emmarie Maxine McFarland, Reese McFarland and Rhett McFarland; and his children's mother, Ruth (Hoeme) McFarland of Pratt.

Don is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna McFarland.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7, at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt with John Hamm presiding. Burial will follow at Iuka Cemetery, Iuka.

Memorials may be made to Cannonball Golf Course or Kansas High School Rodeo Association in care of Larrison Mortuary.
