Betty Ann Woody, 79, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her home. She was born May 6, 1942 in Larned to John and Margaret (Pool) McCabe. Betty married Edward Lee Woody on April 1, 1977 in Alva, Oklahoma. They were married for 44 years.
Betty enjoyed quilting, baking, crafts, fishing, making beef jerky, canning, gardening, wedding cakes, making May Day baskets every year and giving to others and helping others. Per Ed, "I can't say enough about her, she is an amazing, very graceful great lady".
She is survived by her husband, Ed; children, Tona Schmidt, Barbie Harris and Valena House of Pratt, Angela Adams of Ark City, Les Adams and Gerald Adams both of Pratt; sister, Mary Menkhoff of Medicine Lodge; 20 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Timothy Adams; sisters, Carol Gager, Eilee and Eileen; and brother, John Pool.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt with Pastor Roger Harris presiding. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
