MARION COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday in Marion County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Hyundai Sonata driven by Veronica A. Crabtree, 64, Peabody, was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 50 just east of Limestone Road.
The Hyundai struck a 2022 Freightliner truck driven by Sekhon Ranjit Singhjit, 35, Fresno, CA., head-on.
EMS transported Crabtree to Wesley Medical Center. Singh and a passenger in the truck were not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
