
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of Hutchinson is set to reopen the following facilities to the public Thursday:
• City Hall, 125 East Ave B
• Parks and Facilities Office, 1600 S. Elm St.
• Hutchinson Animal Shelter, 1501 South Severance
• Public Works Building, 1500 South Plum
Residents are still encouraged to continue to use online options for paying bills, applying for permits, and watching council meetings when possible.
Both staff and visitors are asked to observe good hygiene and social distancing guidelines. The city also asks that no one enters or uses city facilities who has a fever or is exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
Council and Committee Meetings
In-person City Council meetings will once again open to the public on April 6. Meetings will continue to be streamed live on Cable Channel 7, YouTube and Facebook. Zoom will also remain an option for those who would like to take part in open comments at the April 6 meeting.
Advisory Committees may resume in-person meetings at the discretion of the Chair. If a meeting is being held remotely, the call-in information will be made available at hutchgov.com in accordance with the Kansas Open Meetings Act for those who wish to observe.
