HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson City Council will take up to the GVI Trail Extension Grant for the trail behind homes on Kisiwa Village Road on the north side of the ditch as part of its meeting Tuesday.
Many neighborhood members expressed their concerns about the project two weeks ago and said they'd be back to speak again if needed.
Also on the agenda is a presentation regarding the South Central Kansas Economic Development District, approval of appointments to the Hutchinson Recreation Commission and the Human Relations Commission, a resolution approving the Salty Records Fest as a Special Event in a Designated Entertainment District, an ordinance amending the storm sewers, sanitary sewers and sewage disposal chapter of the city code and the usual comments from council members and City Manager Jeff Cantrell.
The Hutchinson City Council meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the City Council chambers.
