Edith Lee Hizey, 71, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her home in Wichita.
She was born in, Tulare, California to Jewel Marvin White and Viola Daisy (Rochester) White.
Edith enjoyed making crafts for her family and friends. She loved camping and going to the Kansas State Fair. She really enjoyed dressing up and playing pranks on her family and friends. Edith greatly loved her family.
Edith is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Viola White, her father-in-law and mother-in-law Wilbur and Virginia Hizey, son Robbie D. Hizey, brothers William and Jerry White, brother-in-laws Richard Hizey and Russel Larsen.
Edith is survived by her husband Robert 'Bob' D. Hizey; daughters Christina Hizey and Paula (Nick) Bryant; son Darrell (Tracy) Hizey; brothers Marshall (Vaunda) White, Marvin (Dana) White, Bob (Leslie) White, Joe White, John (Stephanie) White, Everett White Sr. and Terry White Sr.; brother-in-law Ron (Cheryl) Hizey; sisters Peggy White, Angela (Dave) Grammer, Sonja (Roger) Baughman and sister-in-law Paula Larsen; 8 Grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild due in September 2022; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; her beloved dogs and grand dogs.
Viewing will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from: 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita.
