
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The high school tennis coach at Hutchinson Trinity will not be renewed after a racist post on Facebook.
According to the school on Saturday, after an investigation, Thomas Harris will not be renewed.
"We stand by our mission statement at Trinity Catholic, which is to unite parish, home, and school into a Catholic learning community, dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual growth, while forming stewards and leaders who value diversity and service to God and society."
Harris posted a meme using a racial slur on his personal Facebook page. 2020 was his first season coaching boys and girls tennis at Trinity. He is a 2006 Trinity graduate.
