USD 309 to consider contract extension for Stroh

NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson USD 309 School Board will hold its regular meeting on Monday.

The Board will go over several maintenance issues including the purchase of HVAC units for the middle school cafeteria, foyer and band room along with the Nickerson Elementary School safe room. The work will cost the district $23,300.

Also Monday the Board will consider extending Dr. Jeanne Strohs contract through the end of July. Stroh has been the interim Superintendent for Dr. Dawn Johnson while she attends the Military College in Washington DC.

And the District will go over several personnel matters including salary increases for classified staff.

Monday’s meeting fo the Nickerson School Board begins at 7 p.m. at the district offices at 4501 West 4th Avenue.
