HAVEN. Kan. — Two people were injured in an accident just after 5 p.m. Friday in Haven.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a pickup driven by 78-year-old Dale Hinshaw, of Benton, was southbound on Haven Road at the K96 intersection when he pulled into the path of a westbound car driven by 21-year-old Adrian Schonlau of Kingman.
EMS transported Hinshaw to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita and Schonlau was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
