
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — More details on the CDBG-CV grant that was awarded to both Hutchinson and Reno County. The City of Hutchinson has been approved for $132,000 in grant funds, which has allowed them to establish the Hutchinson Small Business Emergency Relief Grant Program.
The program is for small businesses of up to 50 employees who are located in Hutchinson, and the business must have at least 51% of employees from a low to medium income household.
The maximum grant amount is $10,000 for businesses of one to five employees and $20,000 for businesses of six to 50 employees. The funds are to be used for working capital such as employee wages, rent, mortgage payments, utilities, and to purchase up to 60 days of inventory needed to reopen the business.
