HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department has a new officer. Chief Jeff Hooper swore in Officer Lance Fairchild.
Fairchild started with the police department as an evidence technician in 2016.
Fairchild was sworn in during a brief ceremony on Wednesday.
