HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson chapter of the NAACP is asking the public to join faith leaders and civic leadership for a round table discussion about what Hutchinson can do to prevent a death like that of George Floyd.

That meeting is Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at Memorial Hall at 101 South Walnut. Time will be offered for audience questions and concerns.

Precautions regarding COVID-19 are encouraged. Wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer will help keep our gathering safer and are recommended by the Health Department. Seating will be arranged to accommodate social distancing.

This meeting will be held in lieu of the NAACP regular monthly meeting. It will also be streamed on the group's Facebook page.
