Glenn Epp, 94, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Mennonite Friendship Communities in South Hutchinson.
Glenn was born February 21, 1927 in Abbyville, the son of Curtis V. and Pauline (Heibert) Epp. On December 28, 1945 Glenn married Vera L. Whitmore in Hutchinson. On July 12, 1945, Glenn enlisted in the Unites States Army and was honorably discharged on May 31, 1947. He served in World War II. While serving in the Army, he received the WWII Victory Metal. Glenn worked as an auto mechanic for Hambelton LaGreca and finally retired after 48 years. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Vera; siblings, Leroy Epp and Wanda Irby; and son-in-law, Charles Shuff.
Glenn is survived by his daughters, Christina Shuff of Hutchinson and Paulette Epp of Wichita; and a son, Ronald Epp of Wichita; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, with Reverend Charles Crumble Sr. presiding.
