HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutch Rec’s Senior Center at Elmdale Park will re-open Monday, June 8 with limited activities. Games and facilities available include pickleball, billiards, fitness room and gymnasium, and wellness classes. A full schedule with new times and drop-in hours will be made available the week of June 1. Participant numbers for each activity will be limited to ensure safe social distancing.
The Center will continue the curbside carry-out lunch program through the end of June. This program is offered to members on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays each week, with a menu posted at hutchrec.com on the Senior Center web page.
To keep everyone healthy and safe, we ask that members practice safe social distancing and avoid close contact with others while in the senior center. Members will also be asked to respect staff’s requests to follow proper guidelines set forth by the Kansas Recreation and Parks Association and local health authorities.
