Mary Mast, 82, passed away on May 23, 2020 at her home in Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born August 17, 1937 in Hutchinson, the daughter of John N. and Emma (Yoder) Mast. Mary was a people person and made many friends during her work at several restaurants, her catering business, and volunteering. She also loved to travel. Mary was a member of the Amish Church.
Survivors include her sister, Wilma (Edward) Mast, Hutchinson, KS.; nieces, Denise (Wes) Miller, Hutchinson, KS., and Marie (Wendell) Bontrager, Haven, KS.; nephews, Arlen (Gloria) Mast and Laverne Mast, all of Hutchinson, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and infant brother, Norman Mast.
Due to state mandates concerning COVID-19, a private funeral service will be held, with Dan Hershberger officiating. Burial will follow at the Amish Community Cemetery, Hutchinson. The family requests friends that want to pay their respects to Mary and her family may do so by attending a walk by viewing on May 25, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Amish Community Building, 5917 W.
