HUTCHINSON Kan. — Residents who may have loved ones at the Mitchell Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery should take note of the potential for flooding later in the week. The church has asked anyone with memorials at the cemetery that they want to keep, to remove those items in the next day or two.&nbsp;

Flooding is expected along Cow Creek with water rising above flood stage Wednesday and cresting Thursday. The church and cemetery regularly have water on the property during even minor flooding.

Residents are asked to remove memorials before water closes off the property.
