 </figure>According to preliminary statistics released Friday by the Kansas Department of Labor, the Reno County unemployment rate was at 10.2% in April, up from 2.8% in March and 2.8% in April of 2019.The City of Hutchinson's unemployment rate is at 11% unemployment in April 2020, up from 3.1% in March 2020 and 3.1% in April of 2019.The statewide unemployment rate for April 2020 is at 11.2%. Over 38% of the new job losses across the state were in the leisure and hospitality sector.
