Michael W. Kimball, formally of Halstead, age 71, passed away May 19, 2020 at Reflection Living, in Hutchinson, KS. after an extended illness.

Born the eldest son of Wayne Kimball and Donna Nelson, in Davenport, IA, both having preceded him, along with his stepmother, Bette Kimball, a sister, Margery Kimball and a brother, David Rasler.

Michael attended Halstead schools for his junior and senior year. He then followed his family back to Davenport, IA. He worked at Gate City Steel, Ralston Purina and then was a heavy equipment operator. In his later years, he D.J.’d at the Silver Spur in Hutchinson and also worked as a cook in Arizona and Halstead. He became a resident of Meadowlark Community in 2003.

Michael had one son, Bradley Kimball of Bettenddorf, IA, and a granddaughter Bobblie (James) Wallis of Sayre, OK.

Other Survivors include six sisters, Kathy (Homer) Unruh, Tammy (Brian) Unruh both of Burrton, Connie (Kenny) Anderson of Hutchinson, Candace (Jeff) Kepford, and Tonya Rhodes both of Davenport, IA., Gale Hinkling of Midlothian VA.; five brothers, Steven (Reisa) Kimball of Halstead, Wayne (Dawn) Kimball of Bentonville, AR., Danny and Shawn Rasler both of Davenport, IA. and Mike (Kim) Anderson of Fairfax, VA.

Per Michaels wishes, no services will be held. Hutchinson Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
