HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Although it is a light agenda for Tuesday’s regular meeting, it will be a busy week for Reno County commissioners.
The only action item on the agenda is the audit report for the county along with commission and county administrator reports. The board will hear the weekly reports from Adam Weishaar and Nick Baldetti on the pandemic and approve the consent agenda. The real work starts on Thursday where the commission will begin the first of two days of budget meetings.
The county is looking to cut between $1 million and $2 million from the 2021 numbers. Those meetings are expected to continue on Friday.
Tuesday’s agenda session begins at 9 a.m. at the Reno County Courthouse.
