HUTCHINSON, Kan. — While some county offices are reopening around the area the Reno County Annex will remain closed through at least May 8.
County Administrator Randy Partington says the county is still working on some guidelines and procedures for making sure the public and county employees are safe.
County treasurer Brenda Kowitz says their office will be taking appointments for any title work and the outer lobby will still have a dropbox for tag renewals and real estate taxes.
They ask that if you drop your renewals or tax payments in the box, make sure your phone number is on your check and enclose the coupon or renewal application. If you need to make an appointment you can call 694-2590. The number for an appointment for any title work is 694-2941.
Those wanting to file for a spot in the August primary or November general election can stop by the county annex building and they will bring the paperwork to your car. You can get information and the necessary paperwork for filing at renogov.org.
