Robert E. Albright, 88, passed away at his home, April 30, 2020. He was born in Hutchinson, KS, February 18, 1932. Parents were Arthur and Elva (Seedle) Albright.
He graduated from Haven High School in 1950, Hutchinson Junior College and Wichita State University with a Mechanical Engineering degree. He served nine years in the Army Reserves. He also worked with his dad on the family farm. He retired in 1993.
He married Betty Morgan, March 22, 1957.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Debra Wood (Ken); grandchildren, Matthew (Cassey) and Kristin Wood; great granddaughter, Rose Wood; brother-in-law, James Morgan (Phyllis); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son Randy, brothers-in-law, Wayne (Ardean) and Earl Morgan.
He will be buried in the Valley Township Cemetery. Cremation has taken place, a private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Haven Food Bank, Alzheimer's Association or donor's choice in care of Ott Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Haven, KS 67543.
