Virginia ‘Ginger’ L. Werth, 68, of South Hutchinson, died April 28, 2020, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born May 30, 1951, in Hutchinson. Ginger was the middle child of seven children, born to Keith and Barbara Lou (Skellenger) Hobbick.

She was a 1969 graduate of Hutchinson High School. Ginger was employed by the South Hutchinson Housing Authority for over 20 years.  She enjoyed ceramics, being outdoors, working with her flowers, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

Ginger married Fred Werth, Jr, in November 2003, in South Hutchinson. 

She is survived by her husband, Fred Werth, Jr., of Hutchinson; children, Chris Stutzman, John Stutzman, Katherine (Eugene) Werth Wilbourn, and Mike (Misty) Werth; grandchildren, Krinn Stutzman, Kenzi Stutzman, Bryson Stutzman, Jordan Vincent, Najahaun Tipton-Wylie, Zane Stutzman, Zayden Stutzman, Tiffani Glen, Kayla Butler, Jesseca Wilbourn, Megan Welch, Jordan Werth, and David Brown; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Sandy (Dean) Wedman, Lynn (Chuck) Montgomery, Kim (Mark) Trent, and Janet Hobbick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Doug Hobbick and Mike Hobbick.

Cremation has taken place. Private graveside service will be Monday, May 4, 2020, at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, with The Reverend Ray Kempel officiating. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Elliott Mortuary.
