COVID-19 cases up to 38 in Reno Co.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The number of positive cases of COVID-19 increased to 38 in Reno County Friday afternoon as two more cases were added to the list. 

The first positive case is a female in her 40s with a known source of exposure. The second positive case is a male under the age of 18 with a known source of exposure.

Both patients are in home isolation per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. No further information is being released and a case contact investigation is underway.

Please practice good hygiene with frequent hand washing, proper respiratory etiquettes such as coughing and sneezing into your elbow bend, limit handshakes and physical contact. Stay home if you are feeling ill and call your primary care physician to discuss your symptoms.
